Biography

Dr. Ewa J. Kleczyk is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in the healthcare industry. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Commercial Analytics & Data Curation at Target RWE, she spearheads the provision of cutting-edge real-world data (RWD) solutions that play a crucial role in drug development and commercialization. Previously, Dr. Kleczyk held the position of Vice President of Advanced and Custom Analytics at Symphony Health, ICON, plc, where she led commercial analytics applications, privacy compliance, and data operations.

With close to two decades of experience, Dr. Kleczyk has established herself as a prominent figure in healthcare analytics and operations. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a remarkable ability to build high-performing teams and deliver innovative solutions. Her expertise and insights have made her a highly sought-after speaker at renowned industry conferences such as the Pharmaceutical Marketing Sciences Association, HIMSS, DTC Perspectives, CDM Media, Women Economic Empowerment Conference, Pharmaceutics & Novel Drug Delivery Systems, and the Conference for Business and Economics at Harvard University. Additionally, she has published in numerous academic and industry journals, contributed chapters to academic books, and served on the boards of several peer-reviewed publications.

As a passionate advocate for mentoring future female leaders in the healthcare industry, Dr. Kleczyk has received multiple leadership awards, including the 'Rising Star' and 'Luminary' recognitions from the HBA. In 2022, she was a finalist for the Women in IT Awards in the Contribution of the Year category, and in 2023, she was recognized as a Global Champion for Women in Healthcare Leadership by CIO Views Magazine.

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Kleczyk actively contributes to her community. Together with her husband, James Strout, she serves as a Board Member on the Community Cancer Council for the Northern Light Health Network in Bangor, ME, providing advocacy for cancer patients. Furthermore, she is a member of the graduate faculty in the School of Economics at the University of Maine, Orono, ME. In this capacity, she has established an academic scholarship for graduate students in the School of Economics, aiming to foster higher education and nurture future leaders in the field of economic development for Maine and the nation. Dr. Kleczyk also chairs the College Advisory Board for the College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, and Agriculture, collaborating closely with the Dean and Faculty to develop programs and degrees that support the growing economies and industries of Maine and the Northeast.

Dr. Kleczyk holds a Doctorate Degree in Agricultural & Applied Economics from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA. She also earned an MS in Resource Economics and Policy and a BA in Economics with a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Maine, Orono, Maine. Originally from Wroclaw, Poland, she brings a global perspective to her work and endeavors.
