Biography

Dr. Ana Lilia Rodríguez Ventura is a pediatric surgeon, graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She has a specialization in Pediatrics and later in Pediatric Endocrinology. Her main interest is to achieve optimal control of diabetes and adiposity (overweight/obesity), as well as thyroid and growth disorders. The diseases are explained and what the scientific evidence indicates is the best regarding the treatment to achieve a better adherence of the patients. Her dream is to achieve a better quality of life of the patient with diabetes and adiposity, She would like the whole society to have good habits not only to prevent these diseases, but also so that those who already suffer from them, do not suffer so much to comply with the recommendations to have a good control if each family and the whole society are in the same line of eating healthy and having good habits. Her research interests are 1. Obesity 2. Diabetology 3. Thyroid Pathologies
